Excalibur was the sword of King Arthur (c.AD 500's), a legendry British ruler of medieval times. There are two versions of how Arthur obtained the sword. In one version Arthur received the sword from the mysterious Lady of the Lake and in the other Excalibur was embedded in a block of stone. This letter opener is made with steel blade with the handle cast in a pewter based white metal. The letter opener is antique silver plated to highlight the detail.

The 16.5cm long letter opener is supplied in a box with clear lid together with historical information.
